I’ve been musing about installing a tagging plugin (probably UTW, because really, how can you go wrong with a plugin called “Ultimate” and “Warrior” in the same breath?) because while I like having categories, sometimes they’re too restrictive.
Well, yeah, subcategories, yada yada. I’m a piler kinda filer. Too much discrimination on how to categorize posts would likely make me shiver in fear of putting the post in the wrong place. Now, with tags, I could just, you know, give a small amount of structure.
But then again, who ever pokes at a tag to see what else was tagged that way? It’s not like I’ll have tags that read “latest scandal” or “cool band” whatever all the other bloggers are tagging things with so they can have “a conversation” that Technorati can track. I’m more likely to have tags that read “small whine” or “rantish” or “bored now” and really, who needs to be able to reference all those posts.
I think I’ve just talked myself out of it. Good! Now I don’t have to mess with my templates.

From The Real Paul Jones, I’ve been following the story of It’s Carrboro!
I had no idea Carrboro was so hip (being as how I only ever visited Carrboro twice — maybe three times?).
They even made a video! And the song is released under a Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 license. Now that’s cool.

Looking at my web log files (not to be confused with my web log posts), I see that my movie of Albite bouncing at the camera is popular in China. At least it seems so. I get a couple of hits a day from baidu.com searches. Is someone putting my movie on their phone? Is it just a trickle that could turn into a torrent and eat all my bandwidth?
Sure wish I could read and type chinese…

In the early part of century, when cellphones didn’t work everywhere, and people all “ate organic” things were much easier and better. They all were nice to each other and were certainly more moral than we are today. And sex? No, my parents didn’t have sex but twice — once for me and once for my brother. Ah… to go back to those days. They were really idyllic…

If I ever need a captcha (getting more likely by the day), I’m hoping this one will be fully developed.
