This weeks puzzle has been overdue for me to be able read and get the answer, however the Name a well known historical figure with a one-word six-letter name. The first and fourth letters are the same, the second and fifth letters are the same, and the third letter is one letter before the sixth, alphabetically. Well is was all Greek to me, and I did not and will never ever think of of Xerxes as being a "Well known historical figure" Mithra the son/sun of God was arround long before the time of "Jesus the son of God", however hardly anyone knows of him!
