Seen in a comment on a post about how PR firms should and shouldn’t pitch to mommy-bloggers:
We offer blogger outreach consulting
I’m, oh I don’t know, a bit bewildered? This is an area of the online world that I am so totally out of step with. I suppose it’s related to that question from yesterday where I couldn’t answer how I monitized my blog.
I suppose if any of these people ran across this blog, they’d say “how quaint” and move on.
Good.

So, I’m putzing about on Facebook, and I’m playing Pirates. In order to get enough gold to do stuff, you have to take surveys. No problem with that, I’m happy to take surveys, and I might even tell the truth.
I’m currently filling out a “Blogging Survey” and I stopped in the middle of it to blog about it (how apropos!) because I’ve reached a dilemma. I decided for this one to tell the truth (how often do you blog, what do you blog about, etc.). But when I got to the last question (number 3), I can’t go further without lying.
First, look at the question:
Do you use any of the following to generate revenue?
Advertisements
Subscriptions
Selling products
Now, look around Nothing Funny about Feldspar. Notice what’s not here? Ads of any sort. I don’t pitch products, I don’t sell subscriptions, I don’t use the oh-so-popular adsense blocks, and I don’t even use an affiliates link when I do mention a book or something. It’s just the Nfaf way.
*sigh* I can’t even go on to the next part without answering. I suppose I’ll have to lie. Oh, too bad, little surveyor, you write such stupid questions.

From a BBC News article on kissing:
In long-term relationships females not only rate kissing as more important than men, but they indicated that kissing was important throughout a relationship.
Does that read that females prefer kissing to men?
