The bad side of not having children
For the past week or so, there’s been some chatter in the distaff side of the blogosphere about an article which takes women to task for not being feminist enough by not sticking with their high-status jobs or by not “marrying down” or some such. I read the article, a blow-up, and some other responses, and only wonder this:
Why is it always about who does the housework? If you’ve got kids, they should be the ones doing the dishes and cleaning the bathtub and vacuuming. Isn’t that what they’re for?
